The project fully meets or exceeds UN and other global ESG metrics, including coverage for Scope 1 and 2 emissions and is fully compliant with IFC Environment standards and the Equator Principles 4 guidelines.
- NAE will ensure that our assets are designed and developed with the lowest carbon footprint and optimal energy efficiency.
- We promote sustainability through providing alternative sustainable and economical sources of energy through the adoption of green technologies.
- We have integrated ESG factors into our operations and business, monitoring present compliance and actively managing risks of future proposed ESG regulations.
- We firmly believe in the fundamental principles of human rights, advocating for their protection and promotion across all realms of our activities, fostering an environment of dignity, equality, and respect for all.
- We aim to create a safe, inclusive and learning centric organization with employee welfare in mind.
- We encourage the growth & development of our people with opportunities for all.
- We have a highly qualified management and Board of Directors, with the Board comprising of three independent and five dependent directors with female representation that are each up for re-election on an annual basis.
- The Board has a minimum of four regularly scheduled meetings.
- Stakeholder Engagement Plan and Grievance Mechanism will be in place for all our invested assets, in accordance with the international (IFC Performance Standard) and national regulatory requirements and policies as guiding principles for appropriate decision making and actions.
